Bazzookas heads to Bulgaria for Hills of Rock 2026 in Plovdiv

We're beyond stoked to announce that Bazzookas will be playing Hills of Rock 2026, Bulgaria's biggest rock and metal festival. This year Hills of Rock takes place on July 24, 25 and 26 at the legendary Plovdiv Rowing Canal, the same grounds where metal history has been written year after year by the likes of Slipknot, Gojira, Sepultura, Machine Head and Lamb of God. Standing on that stage, in a place that has hosted some of the most iconic heavy music performances of the last decade, is a massive moment for us.

Some of you might remember we played the Sofia edition of the festival a few years back, and Bulgaria left a mark on us that never really faded. The crowds, the heat, the sheer intensity of the Bulgarian rock scene. Coming back to play Hills of Rock, now in its new home in Plovdiv, feels like unfinished business in the best possible way. We're joining a 2026 line-up that includes Marilyn Manson, Godsmack, Electric Callboy, Lamb of God, Black Label Society, Paradise Lost, Sex Pistols feat. Frank Carter, and many more, and we cannot wait to bring our brass-driven chaos to that crowd.

Plovdiv is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Europe, known as the City of Seven Hills, with Roman ruins, Ottoman heritage and a seriously vibrant arts scene.
